It was an eveny fought tri series with host bangladesh gave a lot of fight to both the visitor teams. But as usuall could not do well enough to be in the finals. The dew on the ground played its part throughout the series and at the end Sri Lakan team managed to chunck the victory out of the tri nation series, defeating India in the finals.
